WHO WE ARE
VuvuFit is a platform for creating social impact & renewed hope in the community at large. This initiative is designed to empower previously disadvantaged, emerging fitness entrepreneurs with a ‘gym in a box’. The ‘gym in a box’ creates an easily accessible and affordable way for these organic community leaders to make significant social impact whilst earning a living.

• Multiplying and growing leaders.
• Bringing healthy lifestyle benefits to the disadvantaged through building fitter, stronger and healthier communities (mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually).
• Addressing youth unemployment rates by creating profitable business opportunities (Economic Development opportunities).
• Encouraging cultural integration (by holding regular, friendly competitions with other boxes in our area) and being part of the solution in growing a unified South Africa.
LAUNCHING
Through a long standing relationship, we have an inspiring & suitable candidate who is establishing the first official VuvuFit Box in Shakashead in February 2019.
THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
VuvuFit is a project of Vuvuzela NPC- a registered non-profit corporation and a division of The Slev Group. It is designed to be a sustainable project. The bulk of financial assistance given will go to set up costs. VuvuFit is based on a strong business model & mentorship to ensure sustainability. Shakashead is the first of many ‘gyms in a box’ bearing the VuvuFit trademark, with the aim to establish our ‘gyms in a box’ in all our local communities.
